Please note: The open enrollment program is administered by the State of Wisconsin and there are statutory procedures and timelines the school district is required to follow in order to accept students to the ARISE Virtual Academy. The application period for the upcoming school year starts the first Monday in February and ends at 4:00 pm on the last weekday in April. However, there are a number of exceptions to this open enrollment period policy. If you have missed the deadline and feel your situation may qualify please contact ARISE immediately.
If your child is approved to attend the ARISE Virtual Academy through Open Enrollment you will be required to complete the general ARISE Virtual Academy application and enrollment in the School District of Janesville in order to be able to have your child attend the ARISE Virtual Academy.
ARISE Virtual Academy offers a one week Trial/Orientation period for students to see if it is a good educational fit for them. During this one week trial period, students are not considered enrolled at ARISE Virtual Academy and should continue to attend the school at which they are currently enrolled. If the trial period is successful, you will follow the needed enrollment and registration procedures at that time to become a student at ARISE.
